Student & Department Feedback
Student evaluations and feedback are invaluable tools for refining and improving oneself as a teacher. During the semester, I offered students an opportunity to anonymously assess my teaching, the content, and the class. Though voluntary, I administered it since students seemed to respond positively when they saw changes they had recommended being implemented. I revised my methods while maintaining the integrity and scope of the course. Listed on this page are a few written reviews I was able to obtain:
"He is a fantastic professor. I recommend him to everyone. You learn a lot and his humor is wonderful!"
- Web Foundations (Winter, 2011-2012)
"HCI 2 was the most fun class I have had in a while. It was really interactive. I learned a lot through all the class work, assignments and presentation. What made this class even more fun and educational was Professor Parker. He was really helpful, understanding and was always an email away when you needed him. In the future, I would definitely sign up for classes that are taught by Professor Parker."
- Human Computer Interaction 2 (Fall, 2010-2011)
"I enjoyed taking this class with Brendan Parker. Would definitely recommend other students to take him for HCi2."

"Your teaching style is very good. The information in which we are covering is interesting, and it is nice that you dont attribute the entire class for lecture which makes it more exciting i suppose."
- Human Computer Interaction 2 (Fall, 2010-2011)
"Good Professor, I liked how he went a little above and beyond with the course material. A lot of ICE's but it helps to learn the concept of the class. I'm sure as time progress he will be the top professor in the web development field."
- Introduction to Multimedia (Summer, 2009-2010)
